Having designed a successful pool for Carter Plantation Golf Community, located in Springfield, La, Dufreche-Perkins & Associates were again contacted by the client to develop an entry scheme for the upscale neighborhood's main entry. A formal gatehouse was designed along the lines of a traditional southern pigeonnier, and formal array of pergolas and fences were installed flanking the entrance boulevard. An extensive lighting plan was implemented, as were landscape and irrigation designs. Street-trees were also installed in order to enhance the sense of arrival. Our office provided construction administration services throughout construction.
