Dufreche-Perkins & Associates was contacted by Mr. And Mrs. Al Danos of LaRose, La to help them in the planning and design of a waterfall feature at their 1200 acre family retreat located in St. Francisville, La.

The Clients expressed that the program for the fountain was two-fold: first, to correct the drainage and runoff problems and stabilize the slope. Secondly, the project was to be a focal point of the exterior of the residence, providing a water feature for their enjoyment year-round. The Owners were adamant that the design be blended into the slope and integrated both functionally as well as visually into the natural slope and environment.
