This property was presented to us by a landowner wishing to create a recreational retreat for his family, providing future home sites nestled into a network of hiking and equestrian trails. Extensive analysis indicated opportunities for home-sites, lake excavation, trail development, and maximization of view corridors. The decision was made to selectively clear portions of the site to provide changes in the site's character to visitors, and to maximize views to and through scenic areas. The results of this selective clearing have provided a changing spatial experience for people traveling the extensive trails. This property is currently being shaped according to our master plan, and is in a state of subtle transformation.
