Louisiana Supreme Court

The Louisiana State Office of Facility Planning asked us to develop landscape and irrigation plans for the historic structure of the Louisiana Supreme Court, located in the heart of the New Orleans French Quarter.

The program called for landscape plantings, irrigation and arboriculture services for the facility's grounds. The landscape theme was to be in keeping with the rich heritage of sub-tropical flora around the French Quarter and south Louisiana.

Based on this program and our design concept, we developed a new design based on a diverse landscape palette. This consists of tropical plantings of fern and palms mixed with hardy shrubs and ground covers.
