Dufreche-Perkins & Associates was commissioned to plan, design and implement a new landscape planting for the downtown Hammond landmark. The existing landscape of the Bank was inappropriate for the size and scale of the structure. The landscape was designed to respond more to the formal architecture of the building, reinforcing the strong clean lines of the structure.
In 1999, the Louisiana Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects presented the Merit Award for outstanding professional achievement to Dufreche-Perkins & Associates for the creative design and landscape of this project.
