Hammond Architects, Holly & Smith, commissioned Dufreche-Perkins & Associates to prepare a landscape planting plan for the new nine million dollar Classroom and Laboratory building they were designing for Southeastern Louisiana University.

The landscape planting, due to the formality and symmetry of the building, was developed within a formal layout of tree bosque and plantings.
