Southeastern Louisiana University Entry Sign

Our firm already had a long-established record of successful designs on Southeastern’s campus when we were approached to design a Campus Entry sign. Southeastern’s campus edges had been poorly defined in the past, and the administration wanted to correct the situation.

Our design response was to provide free-standing metal sign lettering at the Campus edge flanked by masonry walls, thereby linking the sign’s design with existing architectural elements on campus. Sloping berms and street trees were incorporated into the plan to integrate the new construction into the fabric of the campus and adjacent University Center.
