The Stevens asked Dufreche-Perkins & Associates to design a pool for the rear of their new residence in Hammond.

The site for the pool was unique in that the property in the rear sloped away from the house and back up towards the rear of the property. This allowed the pool to be sited on the edge of the hill with the land dropping away from the pool towards the rear. The Landscape Architects used a low, tiled wall at the end of the pool as a water feature with two fountain jets spraying from the wall. A small sitting area was carved from the slope to allow for outdoor seating near the pool.
