Town of Independence Splash Pad

In February 2014, Independence City Hall and Recreation District representatives approached Dufreche-Perkins with a request to design a public “Splash Pad” to enhance a planned Downtown pavilion.  The resulting design provides a shaded, centrally located children’s play area, and ensures their safety with a secure fence around the splash area.  The adjacent public pavilion will provide a shaded gathering space, and well as public restrooms and parking.
